Gianmaria Beone

Gianmaria Beone graduated in Chemistry from the University of Pavia in 1993. Over the following two years, he collaborated with a private laboratory, contributing to the management of the gas chromatography department. From 1995 to 1997, he held research contracts at the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Piacenza. He began his academic career there as a Researcher in 1997, a role in which he was tenured in 2000. In 2015, he was appointed Associate Professor in the Academic Discipline AGR/13 – Agricultural Chemistry (now AGRI-06/B Agricultural Chemistry), a position he currently holds at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

His teaching activities within the Faculty of Agriculture at the same university include several core and specialized courses. Since 2010, he has been the lead instructor for Analytical Chemistry, since 2016 for Soil Chemistry, and since 2022 for Organic Chemistry.
