Dr. Nicoleta Alina Suciu is researcher at the Department for Sustainable food process, since September 2017. She obtained the PhD title in 2010 in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Ecology of Pesticides from the Faculty of Agriculture of Universitá degli Studi di Milano. Her PhD research was mainly focused on laboratory and field studies concerning pesticide adsorption on modified clays, having as final result the development of a pilot decontamination system for water containing pesticides. For one year she joined the Plant Protection Products and them Residues Unit at European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in Parma (Italy). She has participated in numerous national and international conferences and workshops. She has collaborated in the organization of several national and international scientific meetings. She is the author and co-author of 16 articles in international journals ISI, 8 book chapters and 2 books.
